You should never tell a Dawgs gotta eat shirt. If you hug a dog sometimes they are not wanting a hug right now. Hug them for a little while and let them go. Dogs do hate hugs. I knew a German Shepard named River and he was the biggest, most cuddly baby in the world. He would put his head between your legs as a “hug” and he would nuzzle your thighs and just wait until you leaned over to scratch his back or head. That’s not true my dogs loves hugs, They Climb in my alarms and hug me all the time.
