I have been in retail management for years. Homogenized buying isn’t always a good thing. Needs of a regional community get neglected. Small towns were targeted to drive out the established competition. Then, after time, Walmart left and small communities had nowhere to shop. Jobs were gone. What did Walmart do to push out the small businesses?
