Mickey Mouse and Grinch sweater

Why would you have Cumberbatch voice this Mickey Mouse and Grinch sweater in anything other than his gorgeous natural voice? Ugh! This is awful. And why isn’t Cumberbatch using his Smaug voice or something deeper than this? Would’ve been much more villain-ish. This voice is just plain silly. Benedict Cumberbatch does not have the right voice for the Grinch. Idk who made that executive decision but something needs to be changed. The cartoon is a fantastic movie. There was no reason to remake it as live action and there’s no reason for this. So far, in all these trailers, there’s a reference to the YouTube screaming goat, the “I’m happy” song gets played, and the Grinch texts and talks about the poop emoji.
